Michael works with ambitious business owners who want clarity in their numbers and confidence in their decisions. With over 20 years’ experience in finance, risk and operations, he helps SMEs improve cash flow, strengthen profitability, and build the right structure for growth.
Having led finance teams at Microsoft, Amazon and the an array of other companies in the Technology, FMCG and professional services spaces, Michael knows how world-class businesses run, and now brings that knowledge to the SME space. He’s passionate about making finance simple, actionable, and focused on what matters most: helping founders grow value without losing control.
When he steps into a business, Michael helps set the financial strategy and then puts everything in place, from reporting and processes to team structures and controls, to make sure the plan gets delivered

Helped grow an Irish software solutions company from €1.5m to €15m in revenue in three years, while increasing margins from 6% to 42%
Served as CFO for a division of a large blue-chip supporting 2,500 people and $3bn in revenue, before taking over worldwide accounting for the broader $8bn revenue business across 90 countries
Restructured three SMEs facing closure, negotiating with Revenue and suppliers to keep them trading and working alongside their founders to return the businesses to profitability
Helped two of Europe's largest insurance companies shift executive reporting from tracking activity to measuring impact, giving leadership teams a clearer view of what was working and where to act
Introduced AI (practically) across a number of SMEs to reduce repetitive work and improve decision-making, while helping their founders put the systems, processes and controls in place to use it effectively
