Responsible for the financial stewardship of a construction consultancy business from initial expansion and growth, through to managing the downturn, and re-inventing the business to be a global player: growing from a single office Irish business to operating in 18 offices in 12 countries, with a turnover of €90m+ and over 500 staff worldwide
Advised and executed the sale of the business, from pre-sale Vendor Due Diligence to final Legal Due Diligence, Data Room, Sale Purchase Agreement (SPA) and Deal close
Executed several financial systems, legal, tax and Transfer Pricing business transformation restructuring during high growth
Developed pricing strategies for master service agreements (MSAs) and Key Accounts €10m–€50m multi-year contracts
Along with implementing multiple Finance / ERP systems, designed a bespoke Project Costing system critical to the business for over 15 years, and replicated in an unrelated business
